Well me hearties Briny en Garde! has finally come to an end! It ran its first turn on August 2002 with just 11 players! Over the years many joined and some left, but all contributed to the game with different insights to their view on Briny. We had many GM's and editors who brought a touch of difference to each report/turn they produced.

I would like to thank many, but ulitimatly “Red”HaJo Schlosser for his vision of a different En Garde! game from the usual fare we are all used to and have played. I have really enjoyed my time as webmaster and this was the first website I ever built, while I might add on sick leave from work after an operation!

A few facts for you:

1. Briny En Garde came 2nd in a Flagship poll for Best turn based game
2. Briny had 44 turns when it finally called it a day.
3. Briny had at one time 46 players!
4. Briny rules finished on v12
5. Briny had a review in Flagship magazine
6. Briny was originally going to be called "Hearts of Oak"
