DLC hosts party week 3 at his palace in Kensington. Theme Arthurian Legends. All SL4+ and their ladies welcome (sorry, no Achilles men - don't want blood on my new carpets). All costs covered and 100cr prize for best costume and 100cr for winner of horse race (perhaps decided by a dice roll Carol?)
I write in the hope of persuading you to volunteer the Fiddler's Green for independent action this coming season.
I am fully aware that our ship's company includes some of the most able sailors in His Majesty's Navy. However, this reputation was not earned by carousing in London's clubs but through exhaustive drills, judicious discipline and unbreakable camaraderie developed while at sea.
As your adjutant, it is my duty to provide such advice and I think it prudent to ensure that we are in fighting form for the summer campaign by honing our skills and our senses during the Spring.
Hence, I ask that you volunteer the Fiddler's Green for action in March.
Dutifully Yours,
Lieutenant Bathurst HMS Fiddler's Green

Sir,
I hereby present myself a more educated man and ready to serve under your command in a greater capacity for the good of the Service. I would deem it a great honour to be promoted to Lieutenant and serve as your ship's adjutant when we put to sea in the coming month.
Yours aye,
Julius Caesar Midshipman

Captain,
I earnestly request permission to join your ship's company. I am prepared to serve as a simple sailor, for I know that no man can have a better education at sea than under your command amid your fine and able crew. I am available from the 3rd week of March 1796 should you afford me this opportunity. While but a sailor, I can promise you a strong back, a firm grip, keen eyes and am handy with weapons. I stand ready to serve your ship with honor.

Sir,
I have today written to Captain Pratingly asking that he allow me to join your crew as a simple sailor so that I may serve your ship with honor and apprentice myself to the noble occupation of seafarer and perhaps one day become a naval officer.
I would consider it a great personal favor worthy of my endless gratitude if you could put a kind word into the Captain's ear and help increase the odds that he may take me aboard the Halcyon from the 3rd week of March 1796.
